The Nike trail running shoe cross testing of 2019 is officially in the books! Overall a solid year of trail running shoes from Nike, especially with the newest iteration of the Nike Pegasus Trail line up, the 36; I think Nike has struck a chord here with the Nike Pegasus 36 Trail line up. Nike Wildhorse 5 upper is absolutely amazing, so comfortable on foot. And the dud of the group is in fact the Nike Terra Kiger 5. I hope Nike can turn the Terra Kiger 5 line up around in the not so distant future. Nike Terra Kiger 5 vs Wildhorse 5 vs Pegasus 36 Trail now in the books!

Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 5 - First Run
Today, I took the Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 5 for a first run up Sunrise Peak in Arizona. This is a route that I ran a year ago in the Epic React, and this year, I've returned with another React foam shoe. But this time, with the Terra Kiger 5, I also now have a rock plate, large rubber lugs on the outsole, and an upper that provides a bit more structure than the flyknit of the Epic React. And while the Epic React did surprisingly well, I was very happy to have the trail features of the Terra Kiger.
