We modified the Nike VaporFly 4% FlyKnit and converted them into "ST"
In this new video, we tell you how and why we created the Nike VaporFly FlyKnit 4% "ST".
Our partner Diego López Villarrubia, competed in the Seville Marathon 2019 and chose this shoe for it. But his excess of pronation, when wearing these shoes, caused him a great overload in the soleos and in the twins. To solve this problem, and not discard it, chose to modify the Vaporfly 4% and add an internal support of other Nike shoes, specifically a Structure 18, training shoe with a DynamicSuport stabilizer.
The result was perfect. He managed to have the fastest shoe in the world for a marathon, with the stability he needed to control his pronation and thus achieve his goal. In the end he broke his personal record, dropping it to 2h34: 07.
Hopefully you like the video and we believe that, at least, you will find it curious.
